THIS SAME HEAD WAS USED ON BOTH THE EARLY 50s TK-11 AND TK-31 CAMERA CHAIN - THE TK-11 WAS SOLD WITH A STUDIO CCU AND THE TK-31 WAS SOLD AS A FIELD CAMERA WITH SUITCASE STYLE CCU PACKAGING FOR 'PORTABLE' USE.

The RCA TK11s and 31s wereintroduced in May of 1952and were the real workhorses of television's 'Golden Age'. The field version of this camera, the TK31, was so versatile it could also be used with the TK10/30 CCUs.
